Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Adone (“Adone”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”). It covers the topics formerly described in our German Datenschutzrichtlinie (privacy policy).

1. Who we are

Adone provides software to help businesses create and run paid advertising. For privacy questions, contact support@adone.io.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:

  • Account data — name, email, password (hashed), company name, role, and billing details;
  • Customer content — product images, creatives, briefs, prompts, and other materials you upload;
  • Connected account data — information from platforms you connect (for example Meta, Google, Shopify, Slack), limited to what you authorize;
  • Usage data — feature usage, device/browser type, IP address, approximate location, logs, and diagnostics;
  • Communication data — support messages and feedback;
  • Cookies and similar technologies — for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
  • create accounts, authenticate users, and process payments;
  • generate AI-assisted outputs based on your inputs and connected data;
  • send service notices, product updates, and (where allowed) marketing;
  • monitor abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms;
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of:

  • performance of a contract;
  • legitimate interests (for example securing and improving the Services);
  • consent (for example certain cookies or marketing);
  • legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We may share personal data with:

  • service providers (hosting, analytics, email, payments, support tools);
  • advertising platforms and tools you connect, as needed to provide integrations;
  • professional advisors and authorities when required by law;
  • a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. You may request deletion subject to those needs.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise rights, email support@adone.io. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the Services and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material updates may also be communicated in-product or by email.
